How to “Bling it on!”
Gather a segment of hair and
start separating the strands leaving only 2-5 hairs.
These need to be in a group to look like
only one bigger single strand.
Hold vertically away from head with one hand.
With your other hand, take your Bling Me Beautiful
and fold it in half, creating a loop.
If the hair is longer,
you can leave one end of the Bling longer
to create a longer effect on the hair.
Place the folded loop behind the hair.
The hair will be vertical and the loop will be horizontal
creating a “+”.
Secure between your forefinger and thumb.
With your free hand, gently grasp the loop,
sliding your main fingers up, holding only the hair.
Reach through the loop and grasp both strands of Bling,
pulling it through the loop and forming a slipknot.
Slide the slipknot to the base of the hair, next to the scalp.
(Keeping the knot close to the base is very important
so your Bling will stay in longer).
Have someone hold the knot down if this helps.
Next, hold the strands of Bling in one hand
and the strands of hair in the other and form a double knot.
When your double knot is complete drop the hair.
Separate the two strands of Bling,
tie it in another double knot to lock them into place.
It’s JUST that easy. If you can tie a shoe ... You can tie Bling!
You may have to practice a few times…
but once you do get it, it’s like riding a bike;
you’ll be able to do it in your sleep! :)
Trim the ends if they’re too long and ENJOY!
